This is the 39th Situation Report on COVID-19 response as of 16th April 2021. It is produced by the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator in Malawi.

Key highlights:

  • 251,368 people vaccinated against COVID-19 to-date since 11 March 2021
  • 4 PCR laboratories successfully participated in quality assurance programme
  • 228,000 households received lean season cash and in-kind food assistance
  • Local leaders and faith leaders engaged on COVID-19 vaccine
