2019 WHO Malawi Country Office Annual Report

The report highlights the achievements of the WHO guided by the Country Cooperation Strategy and the WHO General Programme of Work number 12. The WHO Country Office in collaboration with other UN agencies; supported the Government of Malawi to roll out the Human Papilloma Virus vaccine that prevents cervical cancer in women; supported the Government of Malawi to make history by being the first country to introduce the malaria vaccine, and supported the emergency response to the effects of 2019 Cyclone Idai among others.
