Declaration of State of Disaster over Districts Affected by Floods and Heavy Rains - 26 January 2022

Tropical Storm Ana caused heavy flooding in a number of districts in Malawi, especially in the Southern Region due to a lot of heavy rainfall and strong winds. This is a statement of the declaration of the State of Disaster over districts affected by floods and heavy rains. It was made by President Lazarus Chakwera on 26 January 2022.
